I remember that phase, the best lie I was told that the school took his class to the moon
they didnt need permission slips because it was a special excursion
it didnt last long thankfully

I have never had that phase, but some of my friends have, and I wish you the best of luck in getting through it and correcting it

My kids never went through that stage thank god thats one thing i really hate is when kids lie.
I think if you want him to stop then i wouldn’t be laughing at any lies he says even if you think they are funny as he will just think its ok to do it as it makes you laugh.

My niece is going through a huge bossy faze, its pretty funny and incredibly annoying all at the same time 🙂

We are going through this lying phase with our 4yr old son too. I always catch him out with his lie & let him know, I know. Depending on the lie sometimes I make light of it by saying “Liar, liar pants on fire” otherwise I will discipline him. Hopefully this phase doesn’t last too long.

Hmm I personally think lying is a habit best not to let them get away with. Phase or no phase, (depending on the lie) I think lying is wrong.. 🙂

My son use to blame things he did for example if he broke something it was the dog that did it even if he did some thing wrong while at my Mum’s he still blamed Tonka even though he was still at our house than he went through a stage if he did something wrong he would tell his sister and bring her out and say sissy has to tell you something

No specific phases except terrible twos. But I must admit the lying is not one in looking forward to.
