This year we had a few family health scares. There were some long weeks with many trips in and out of the hospital. Then the terrible waiting for news, waiting for test results, waiting to hear what those results meant. And I think now I am no longer being patient – roll on 2014! Some years are just tough and there is one thing after another and during these times I am grateful for the support of my family and close friends. They really helped me through one of the hardest years I’ve faced in a long time. I wish everyone a very happy and safe New Year!
