I discovered that they perish fairly quickly if they get wet or are exposed to the sun. If children wear them the last thing they think about is getting them wet. Possibly it is connected to whatever we wash our hands with.
I very carefully picked up a loomband wristband and it disintergrated it.

My daughter is 12 and just this year she started to become crazy about them. Not much interest before. I think they are a wonderful way for kids to do something creative, beautiful and entertaining.

Lol. We at least they are much cheaper than they used to be
