Hi

Does anyone else have trouble losing weight after having children, now I have 2 children I am finding it hard to lose my baby weight, I know no excuse. I have trouble getting both the boys out to exercise the one in the pram is fine, but I have a 4 yr old who is great but wants to look at everything so I can not walk fast enought to get my heart rate up as I have to walk slow enough for my other boy to walk too. I am a stay at home mum and I really do not feel safe walking by myself early in the morning and late at night.

Any other else like this?

  • Such a shame that you don’t feel safe to walk in the morning and evening. :( Maybe you could set up some circuits/activity stations at home?

  • I am with you too. I find it is mostly what I put in my mouth when I am now at home, more cups of tea, less bikkies


    • Then eating the bits and pieces off the kids plates.

  • Hi I too am a stay at home mum. I have a spin bike set up in my garage and get up before the kids to do my workout out there. I joined the Michelle bridges 12 wbt in October 2012 to get rid of my weight and after losing that and more I finally feel like I am in control of my life. All of her workouts can be done either in a gym or outdoors, I did all outdoors and lost 32 kgs over 6 months. I am now a slightly fitness obsessed stay at home mum. It has done me wonders both personally and for my kids. I only go out for a run when it’s light out if I can or my 4 year old and I do a dance or Zumba video. I love it. Good luck

  • I know how you feel. I too am a stay at home mum that doesn’t feel comfortable walking alone in the early morning or at night. I think the key is motivation, I just wish I knew where to find it!
