Hi Lovely Moms, I do not wish to offend anyone and it is not my intention to be rude but just wish to state that if you have a problem or am concerned about anything on the mom site to please send through a email to the mom team. I have noticed that there has been posts on MOM website issues, SPAM and Mom not replying to emails. Now about the spam that pops up from time to time particularly in the Money and Business section. Mom have emailed me and told me their spam filter is usually pretty good at catching this, but occasionally lets things like this happen. As this section is unmoderated by the MoM team, they don’t know it has happened unless someone tells them.
So please email your concerns when issues arise and we can all enjoy a better site. Many thanks and Kind Regards. :-)

    I have been one of those to email the MoMs team concerning issues, my posts are the ones I think you refer to, re MoMs website issues and them jog replying to emails. I have also contacted them about spam issues on the page. I always email them first concerning any issues. It’s when I don’t get a response that I post on here, hoping other mums may have experienced similar and may have got a reply from the MoMs team. It’s frustrating to not know and not get a reply


    • Hi mom81879, thank you so much for your reply and on behalf of me THANK YOU for taking the time to email the mom team. In relation to them not emailing you back I would suggest you resend the email with a added note, I have not heard from you and was wondering what the outcome was.
      I must admit I am not one to give up so I do have the tendency to bug and persist till I receive my wanted response.
      Anyhow do hope all goes well for you and happy times ahead.



      • I have emailed in the past about having trouble logging on to the site, spam posts on here, about the real stories disappearing etc. No response. Although the Real Stories have since re-appeared. Last email was regarding the email to activate your rewards prize. When I clicked on the link and logged in I was told according to MoMs records I wasn’t a rewards prize winner this month, even tho I was responding to an email saying I was. No reply, but when I tried again later it was all sorted. Are you on the MoMs admin team?

        No I am not on the Mom Team Admin just a plain mom member like you who really wants this site to run a bit smoother. I must admit I am rather shocked at your troubles and lack of response especially about the rewards prize (I would be more than a bit angry). I tried to submit a recipe on the 27th ..went to all the effort of typing it out, got to the section of preview your recipe to make sure it’s beautiful and you can then submit from here…well there was NO submit button. Fired off a email to mom but they had gone for the day. The next day I received a email saying they had had trouble like this in the past and were looking into it. Then received another email later asking for my browser etc details. After I had returned home and retrieved all their emails I decided to have one last try at submitting ..I cut and pasted my saved recipe and re-entered it, this time a submit button appeared and I was successful but have only just received an email telling me I am in the running for a prize BUT my gripe now is my recipe is not yet published (although I tried on the 27th , was successful on the 28th) BUT have not received the points for it in Febs rewards. But like I have stated I am a very persistent person and will hound till I am happy. This site does have its gliches from time to time and we as members should be able to have them sorted.

      • Yep, I agree. I used to be like that, keep on at it until I get a response or solve the issue. Now I’m older, I tend to pick my fights and work on the ones that are important to me. I love the MoMs web site, but can’t really be bothered chasing things up when they can’t be bothered replying. I figure I’ve had my say, they know what I think, it’s up to them what they do with it.
