I had the most ‘Beautiful’ personal experience the other day. I had ordered off the Home Care catalogue and a young man turned up at the door to deliver my order. He was simply gorgeous, mentally challenged and so proud to be delivering his product to me and expounding his knowledge on the product. He then went further to tell me he was moving to Albany (WA) to be Home Care’s distributor down there. A promotion ta’ boot! He was courteous, friendly and he left leaving with a BIG smile and an even BIGGER one my face. I have worked with Downs Syndrome and Mentally Challenged Adults and Children. Please if you ever cross paths with these people, look them in the eye, say hello. You WILL be rewarded! 🙂

What a lovely sounding young person. Too many people are not prepared to interact with mentally challenged people. Sad cos they’re missing out on so much
