Ok, so I know it was last weekend. So maybe a tad late on writing this.

This is my 4th Mothers Day. Things have been a bit tight lately in our house, so no I did not want a gift. I would have liked a drawing, picture, anything handmade from hubby & the kids.

Hubs had done 13days straight at work, so I did say I was happy to get up with the kids early. I had planned to meet my mum mid morning anyway. I came home at 1pm & he was still in bed!! I worked the night before so the house was trashed from the kids and being Mother’s Day I figured it wouldn’t be me to tidy up.. How wrong was I?

Yes, I ended up cleaning the house. I was fuming.. We didn’t speak for 3 days.

I just felt that ONE day of the year, would it be so hard to help out & show a bit of appreciation for keeping the kids entertained & alive.. While working night shift…

Saying that, I do hope everyone else had a lovely day! I’m sure you’re all brilliant moms!!
