My story is boring. I was 10 days overdue and had to be induced. I went into the hospital at 7am, had the gel. Nothing. Had more gel at about 12pm and started getting contractions around 5pm. I vomited because of the pain and they gave me some pethadine, an injection for nausia and a sedative so I could sleep while the contractions werent too bad. Woke up at 1am in pain. The mid wife came in and did a vaginal exam and said I was fully dilated. Went down to the delivery room and I think they gave me another nausia shot. I started having the gas which I tripped out on. I had this weird matrix thing where I felt like the world wasn’t real and I was about to be brought into reality and everything in my life happened for a reason and it was all about to make sense. I started shouting “Control, Alt, Delete!” over and over. I don’t really remember. Freaked my hubby out. Then my Dr came in at 3am and did an exam and said I was only 2cm dilated NOT fully dilated!! He came in again around 6 and I hadn’t progressed. Then he put me on an epidural to help me dilate. Didn’t work. He came back at around 9am and I was only 3cm so he recommended a c section. Evie was born at 10.35am. So freaking glad I ended up having a csection, she was huge and posterior. Im just scheduling in for a csection next time.
