Story My chilDren entered in the australian open lawn bowls

im such a proud mum. Two of mine travelled from south australia to the gold coast to play lawn bowls. It was so much experience and gave them so much confidence that they are planning next years trip. There was $225,000 up for prize money. My daughter got in the top 63 for singles. There was 83 all up. They had gone to sea world too. Its one year and competition they will never forget.

  • That is not something I would expect to see, kids playing lawn bowls. It’s a sport often associated with the elderly (my mum plays, for example) Excellent to see the kids enjoying and excelling at it
