About six and a half months ago I had my youngest daughter in the third last autrasound myself and my partner were told that our precious little girl had some problems we were so devastated by the news we were told as my daughter has a pelvic kidney and is missing one of three coverings of our brain to connect left and right side we were told she might be a slow learner a genius or be schizophrenic in her first six months of life has been so hard especially on me as this is my baby girl this is the only place I can vent my problems as me and my mum dont talk I dont talk to anyone in my family in the first 4 months of my daughters life she cut her first tooth started to try and roll over onto her back and the first six months she has three teeth is as normal as my other children were when they were young she has amazed doctors by all the blood test shes had heart doctor doesnt want to see her now till she is ten other doctors dont want to see her for another three months she has her mri in nov so iam a very proud mummy of my little girl who has so far overcome all her problems and secretly I believe within myself my little steph will be mummies little genius

  • Thanks for all the positive comments and yes steph is a little fighter she has proven that to mummy and daddy so many times she said her first word the other day and it was dad dad proud as punch and she is only six months

  • Such great news that your little girl is doing so well.
    I think it’s every parents worst nightmare to be told something might be wrong with their unborn child but I believe it doesn’t make you love them any more or less than any other child.
    I really glad that doctor appointments have now got a bit further apart but do understand your fear.
