Hello!

So my darling angel became a big 4 year old boy last month, and he is even pooping in the toilet now as well!! However that word NO is becoming his favourite saying! And his poor sister, well let’s just say im considering an inflatable boxing glove for the pair of them. Every day when they are together its a chorus of “Mum! He hit me” and “Mum! Sissy hit me!” I actually go to the toilet with a book to escape it these days. And with hubby now working full time I am referee, doctor, corporal punisher, the nasty mum who takes away treats, and the mum he doesnt love anymore. I don’t mind so much, as I know he is only 4…but what makes it all better is when he climbs into my lap, cuddles me and goes “I love you Mum, your awesome, your the bestest mum in the whole world!” and gives me a big kiss..then I realise just like with his Dad, I can’t be mad at him. *sigh* I am sooo not looking forward to the teenage years!!

  • Enjoy the junior years, I say from experience as my 3 are all adults & have flown the nest. Does make it rewarding when you get the enormous amount of love even if only from time to time. Hang in there :)
