My wonderful Husband.

My husband and I were married nearly 48 years ago. Not once in those years did we ever consider giving up on each other, despite the ups and downs that we went through. We believe that marriage is forever, and thankfully we have enjoyed a happy marriage, and still very much enjoy each other’s company. My husband still calls me his little princess, and treats me that way as well! ! We have 6 gorgeous daughters, married to 6 wonderful men, and between them all we have 22 grandchildren, another on the way, and we are soon to become great grandparents. We are just so blessed, and we pray for them each day, that they will all grow up to be wonderful men and women of God. Each year we all get together in one place and spend a weekend together, and it is just so lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves and getting along so well. My husband keeps in touch with every family by phone and the grandies think he’s the best.

thank you for sharing. its great to hear of a loving lasting marriage, as these days people do give up too easily. Great to hear of a large loving family that sounds close to each other. that’s all I can ever ask for 🙂

What a wonderful story, my parents have been married almost 50 years, my mothers parents were married for almost 60 years before Grandpa passed, and my Fathers parents are still both alive and have been married for over 70 years, grandma is in a nursing home now but grandpa is still at home and visits her daily. I hope that I am still as devoted to my Husband in the decades to come, we have been together about 20 years and get on well and and are each others best friends. we have suffered ill health and we have both assisted each other to maintain out lifestyle and independence,

What a lovely story. To get all those people in the one place at the same time must be a little like hearing butterflies. I am so,happy to have read your story, it certainly is a feel good one.
