Hello!

We just updated the look of our lounge room for less! We bought a rug off guntree for $30, a lovely tv unit from an online auction for $60, two matching vases for $5 from an op shop, free cushion covers that I made from old curtains with a matching runner for our existing coffee table and a free plant that we took cuttings from. Oh and I forgot the $20 throw from IKEA!

  • Well done! That’s “more bang for your buck”. I love a new look for less. I often fill a vase with foliage from the garden as we don’t have many flowers and it always looks fresh and doesn’t cost me anything.

    • I also use leaves and shrubbery for my vases.
