It is good you don’t need a microwave but we love using ours,so handy!

I have never seen a microwave recipe and only when we first bought a Tupperware steamer a very long time ago did I ever read one . Microwave is mainly for convenience so great if you have the time and you don\’t mind heating on the stove or oven .

We use it for convince but managed fine when we didn’t have one.

I love my microwave for ease and convenience but i also managed quite well before microwaves were invented! It just took a little longer to cook certain items in the oven.

I love my microwave and would struggle without Nutella mugs!

I wouldn’t be with out one .. if used properly and safely they are a god send.

This house (only been here for 12 months) hates appliances! No seriously I had to get a sparky in and do a full overhaul on our Electrics. My Dishwasher, brand New Stereo and Microwave times 2 wrecked by surging :(..Have not had a Dishwasher or Microwave for 4 months now and I agree with you, reheating in a saucepan you get more of an even heat and I find with reheating pastas etc I make a complete different meal – as before it was zip zap in the Microwave.

Ha! I’m the complete opposite, I couldn’t live without it!

Ours is used every single day, multiple times. With teenagers always warming food up, we couldn’t be without it!

We lived without a microwave for years. Our kitchen was very small and we rarely used it. The only thing I couldn’t do is heat up a wheat bag for aches and pains but I just used a hot water bottle instead.

  our wheat bags are safe to heat up in the oven, as long as its not a gas oven

I like using a combination of both; oven and microwave for cooking.
