BillyJean, it is a very tough decision to decide what to do if one wants one more and the other one does not want to continue. We had this my husband wanted one more when my youngest was under a year and I just said NO. could not think of anything worse to be feeding and pregnant at the same time and deal with a colicy baby and a toddler ….. then when he was about 2 years old I wanted to have another one and my husbands job had changed and he was hardly at home and said he did not want to leave me with all the stress of 3 young kids as he could not help much and as the years passed by I got used to the idea and very clucky around babies and still am, but then his brother had a baby with serious health issues and it made me think be happy as we have 2 very healthy children and that was that.

  • We had 2 kids, boy then girl, and didn’t really discuss more kids or no more kids, it was just done. I got clucky around the age of 40-43, only because hubby was on for it. We tried for 12 months, no success, but I’m very happy with what we have anyway :))))))

  • Whether or not to have any more is always such a complex decision to make.

    • So true, most of us have many factors to take into account how many children we should have.
