You know those days where every little thing seems to go wrong? My whole year has been like one of those days. It started just before we moved house at the end of last year. First the printer broke. No big deal right, throw it out and buy a new one. Then a couple of other things started breaking. Looking back now, I’ve wondered of it was an omen. A sign of times to comes. By the time we had moved into our new place we had 2 broken beds, a broken tv cabinet, a damaged wardrobe, and damaged kitchen table. No biggie right, things get damaged all the time when moving house. But then it really started.. In the 9 months that followed the breakages have been pricey. We’ve lost a portable computer hard drive, a bluray player, our big tv, washing machine, exercise bike, and a couple of mobile phones. The microwave needs a good bashing to get started, I expect to be replacing that soon. In my kitchen, everything leaks. My best mixing bowl, my measuring cup, and my sons favourite cup have all sprung leaks, not to mention my jug, which needs replacing asap, as it only holds water long enough for me to boil it for a cup of tea. Two mugs have completely lost their bottoms. Seriously, whoever heard of the bottom of a mug just falling off, let alone two of them. Don’t even get me started on what’s wrong with our cars. Along with all the breakages, so many other things have not gone our way. I am well and truly looking forward to the end of this year, and hoping that the next will be much better! In the meantime, I’ll just keep looking at all the things I have to be grateful for. :)

  • Frustrations run in multiples of 3. Count them up, take a deep breath then count all the good things that have happened for you, they usually outnumber the frustrations. I think you are due for a good luck break, hope it happens SOON
