After battling bowel cancer, when my youngest was 1 my second 3 and my eldest 5, 6 months of dreaded Chemo and what felt like a life time of doctors appointments. I have now come out on the other side CANCER FREE!!! It has been one year on!
But i was then left with the question, what do i do with my life now.!? I didnt want to go back to the regular desk job working 9 – 5 while my three precious babies were in daycare or after school care. Being there with them and watching them grow was way to important to me now. I wanted to be the one to teach them to count, to see them grow by cm day by day. There would be plenty of time once they were all in school for me to work again.
And so it happens i have decided, to not return to work, but to enroll in UNI, and study distance, part time. So i can be there for my children and at the same time, become what i always wanted to be when i was a little girl… A primary school teacher. !!! My life is full and i am so grateful for my journey!
