Hello!

My daughter had issues with constipation on her toilet training journey. She is fully toilet trained now but to help her relax when she was training we started making up little stories to tell her. This helped and she didn’t have as much trouble doing her number 2’s. However, this habit stuck and so every time she needed to do a number 2 we found ourselves telling stories about magical princess’s or pirates. Sometimes my creative husband even gets the puppets out to assist in his story telling. The down side to this trick is that when we are in a public place and our daughter needs to do a number 2. So if you ever find yourself at the shops and the lady in the cubicle next to you is telling a story about a fairy princess that goes looking for a super flower that will make her magic work better. Don’t think that lady in the next cubicle has gone crazy but rather she has helped her three year old go to the toilet.

  • I would love it if I ever came across you in the next cubicle. I think I’ld probably sit and listen for myself. I know I’ld have to stay til the end. That would be great

  • Love it & what a fantastic, relaxed way to approach the situation for all included. I wouldn’t be able to help myself & you would probably hear from the next cubicle a voice of a 42 year old saying what happened next. Just a suggestion, if she likes fresh prunes add a couple of them into her diet every day, they work wonders. Great story & happy story time poos lol :)
