Hello!

A fellow friend and I were reminiscing today about the good old rotary telephone, mobiles the size of bricks and cool car phones. We laughed about how we always got told off for tying up the phone line for hours on end and how’d we spend all day and night waiting for the phone to ring. How times have changed! Do tweens or teens ring anymore or is it all just text messages?!

  • Written messages are often more useful – time to consider a response, a record to prove what has been said (if business) and remind yourself if you forget.

  • I remember the old phones my parents had and the first ever mobile phone my parents gave me for driving home at night after work! It was a huge brick but I loved it!
I am not a fan of talking on the phone, I never have been. So I do prefer texting. Other than that, I prefer talking to the person face to face!

    • I have kept the old brick too! I also loved the old brick! ;)

  • I love they couldn’t break when dropped! Calling is a bit of a lost art. It’s not just txt messages but photos (like snap chat)
