  I agree; such a good ice breaker as everyone already feels kind of silly! 😉

Hubby and I did it for our daughters 30th birthday this year and it was so much fun.

I have never done that as an adult! Wish i had the opportunity!

Now I wanna dress up! Haha
Dressing up is so much fun, being someone else for a while, and getting out of your comfort zone

I have to agree with you there it’s a great ice breaker when attending larger events or entering a new circle of people. Have to appreciate those that make the effort, it always seems to add some cheer to any event. Secretly hoping more of the family get on board and host family dinners etc. with a theme 🙂

Love dress ups in this house.
I didnt have many costumes as a kid but I did dress up in mums clothes
my kids love to dress up and i encourage it all the time
helps build imagination and character

I love fancy dress parties. This was a 40th Halloween themed party we went to & everyone dressed up it was a hoot!

I don’t much like dressing up myself, but I admire people who can do it well.

These are always such great fun and worth the effect to get ready

I haven’t been to a fancy dress in years but rember how much fun it was and all the laughs

We went to a 60’s party a while ago. Lots of fun. Most people dressed up and made an effort. Also went to a masquarade party and fancy hat party. Definite ice breakers.

Love a good costume party, especially when everyone gets into it.

It’s been over twenty years since we last went to a fancy dress party.

I love and hate fancy dress. Love because it’s fun to dress up, hate because I procrastinate too much over my costume. One year, we had to dress as something that starts with the same letter as our first name (I use a nickname on here) so I went as a Stargate lol

It would be a good ice breaker, if you know nobody there you can at least start up a conversation about costumes etc 🙂
