The Polar Freeze is well and truly here. It is absolutely beautiful to look at the snow covered mountains, but absolutely freezing cold. I am cooking soups, baking cakes and finding any excuse to cook up recipes using the oven. We have rugged up with several layers of clothing and we are taking the opportunity to have a cosy weekend indoors. We are catching up on watching DVD’s, reading books and playing fun board games. We are enjoying the mandatory hot chocolate with marshmallows. I do love getting out in all seasons and I do enjoy cooler weather, but it is good to enjoy a warm weekend indoors too. I hope everyone is managing to stay warm and happy.
