So I don’t know if your house is like mine. But kindness to one another doesn’t seem to come very easy with my kids. So I started to think of ways that might excite and encourage them to be kind to their siblings. After much thinking the “Caring Koala Award” came about. The award (a caramello Koala) would be given to the person who showed a caring attitude during the week. This became very exciting and they all have taken it on very well. So happy to report it is all going well and I’m glad that I have given them an opportunity to think about others and what kind acts we can do for each other.
