Im a single mummy. I like it that way but can’t help thinking when is the best time to open myself up to trying dating!? Baby is nearly 2 so surely this is a good time as toddler is old enough to be left alone with grandma for a few hours and young enough to be oblivious to my “future love life”! Im just worried I wouldn’t know what to do. I don’t really date, so meeting people before baby was done at a nightclub or random times while a bit under the influence! So for me actually the thought of wanting to meet someone is there… But actually doing it is a bit out of reach! Then there are other questions like how do Igo about it? When Do i tell a potential partner i have a baby? How do I know I i am wasting my time or not

  • I think you should go out and start dating when you feel it’s right. Even if it’s not dating, I think it good for you to get out and have some time with gfs.

  • date when you feel the time is right for you

  • Follow your gut instinct. Meet people through clubs, sports or friends.

  • It’s the way you get to meet people? So single parent groups, go out with other GF’s attend any parties you might get invited to. Find something that you are interested in and join a group that does day outings.

  • Trust your instinct. If you believe he is your future love go for it. Don’t know the result if never try. Good luck.
