Hello!

True, true, true. People think they have a right to comment on weight. You know what those people are? Tactless. Living in a dream world. THEY are not perfect! THEY have problems! Maybe you should point out some flaws of their own to them, hell knows I did. When I had JUST HAD my first baby, in which was very sick and had both an emergency ceasar and a sick baby, on my first week home, my father in law commented openly, well, “She needs to lose some weight now, don’t you think?” To my husband. I love my husband so much. In this moment, when I was a whale and it was quite obvious I had been through hell, he said “No, she looks just beautiful.” Still brings tears to my eyes. Those that love you, see you. The real you. Who you were, are and will be. We all change throughout our lives. Just for the record, after his next comment on my weight, I said ” Almost catching up to you, ay?” LOL!! Next time I had a baby he mentioned “Wow! Big tits!” :/ Imagine that. Once again, I said, “Just like yours.” Hahahaha. Doesn’t take away the hurt but makes you feel batter. ;)

  • Love your responses, so funny! Inlaws can be awful and hurtful, well anyone can be, but I love your way of thinking and how to deal with it. Thanks for sharing!

  • People should keep those kinds thoughts and comments to themselves; it does not bring anything positive into the world and is disrespectful to you.

  • Good on your husband but I don’t think much of your FIL.

  • Your husband’s comment was very sweet but that FIL needs to put a sock in it. How dare he & why is he scrutinizing you anyway? Tell him to keep his eyes on his wife & not his son’s.

  • Wow people are so cruel at times just don’t listen to them and always stay positive.
