Hello!

I’m sorry you felt you had a bad experience with the birth of your child.

When you asked why couldn’t they rush the tests through, it is not always possible, as they often need time for a sample to grow ( to put it very simply).

Beleive me when I say Doctors and Nurses hate having to do something to a child (or anyone for that matter)that will cause pain, but they have your child’s best interests at heart.

If your little fellow DID have an infection, and antibiotics had not been started before it was confirmed, the outcome could have been far far worse than just having a drip in for a few days.

I feel society often puts such a strong emphasis on things that happen in the first few weeks of life, that we forget in the long run it really makes very little impact if any on a childs development. It also makes us feel terribly guilty for no real reason!
