Hello!

A week of sadness with David Bowie passing away and now Alan Rickman. Both passed away at the age of 69 and both from cancer. I loved Alan Rickman, a magnificent actor and human being. These sad losses highlight the importance of fighting cancer and raising funds to support cancer research into cures. It is something that is close to my heart, having fought my own battles. RIP David Bowie and Alan Rickman and all that have fought and lost their battle with cancer. Sending love and prayers to all currently fighting the battle. xx

It’s really upsetting to see so many people dying of cancer. Lately Celine Dion’s husband too, and Celine’s brother. :-(

  • i saw a news story the other day, and you can google it to find exact details, but a guy was looking for funding from the gov for his invention. his idea is to wash away cancer cells from the blood (think dialysis treatment) and he was testing it on mice. hopefully this is a big breakthrough.

  • You wrote this post beautifully. I agree that cancers cut short so many lives – thoughts and prayers to all who are currently battling cancer, or who have lost a loved one through cancer.

    • Thank you for your beautiful and kinds words! I struggled to write down my thoughts through floods of tears as my life has been impacted by cancer. Again to everyone touched by cancer, stay positive and enjoy every precious moment and be generous and kind to everyone. Life is a truly beautiful gift. It is a gift I intend to use until my very last breath! xx
