So I am planning a holiday to my parents place interstate, which will be wonderful, the kids will love it, as will my parents. However, the only way to get there is to drive, and its an 11 hour trip. Aaarghh!!! What am I thinking. We have done this trip once before, but my husband came with me, so we could share the driving, and even then it was hell on earth. Within the first half an hour my 3 year old had vomited twice, my 4 month old screamed and cried pretty much every hour looking for food, so the stops were frequent. Am I crazy for attempting this on my own?? I think so, but I will stop over half way so I don’t get too tired. But I am hoping for a miracle that we survive this trip, wish me luck!
