Saving Water

My 7 year old had news this week on the topic ‘How does your family save water’. Well he proceeded to tell his class that his family saves water by running the bath once and all four children use the same bath water. He also said that he saves water when brushing his teeth, by only turning the tap on to wet the toothbrush and then to wash down the spit.

Then, he said any questions. One child put up his hand and asked if there were any other ways his family saved water. And my son replied. “yep, my mum drinks wine and my dad drinks beer instead of drinking water’…

hmmmm!
