Our old boy is coming up 14 and we know he’s getting close to the end too. I know we’ll l be devastated when the end comes for him. We’ve already thought we lost him, and didn’t, but it shook us up

Pets are family and their loss hurts just as much.

I’m sorry for your loss. When we lost our dog Molly to cancer nearly five years ago, it was hard on all of us. My daughter was only four at the time and couldn’t understand why her doggy friend was no longer around. Molly had been there as a support as she first stood up and would lie or sit there patiently, even when her tail was run over. We were dog free for just over a year before getting another dog from the lost dog’s home. Kassie looks like a mini version of Molly – although she does have her own personality!

Thank you. We are all still struggling. Especially with the fact our little world will never quite be the same again 🙁

  Our pets have such special places on our hearts. We have a special little garden and place in our yard to remember our pets with little plaques and beautiful plants. It does help us with our grief and loss. xo
