Hello!

We moved house and I was suffering from a lack of sleep due to our new noisy environment (we now live on a main road). After trying various methods to reduce the noise, such as using a white noise app on the phone and extra thick window coverings (blankets) my darling husband came up with the simplest and cheapest solution. A pair of earplugs!

  • lol good one. don’t worry, i can tell you from experience that you will get used to the noise and you automatically tune it out. there will be the occasional hoon though and sirens. if it is your own house, put some trees up to block some noise

  • We used to live on a main road near a big intersection. It was very hard at the beginning but after few months we got used to the noise. I guess you will get used to the noise but until then the ear plug will help.

    • oh yeah they will. won’t be able to hear the kids either. it is so noisy in the morning lol

  • Good idea. I use to live on a main road, it took me about two months to be able to tune it out at night time. When i moved to a quiter area it took me ages to get use to there been no noise other than the kids at school lunch time over the back fence.

  • :-) Great! My husband uses them every night. I don’t like them. I have fear that, with the ear plugs, I won’t hear if something happens! :-)
