My sister in law and her siblings only just found out 30 years later that they all had serious apnea and it was only found out by accident as she snores frequenty ( one of the signs ). Thank goodness , it is found out now . I would ask them what is classified as urgent so not sure how it is assessed , The machine was a total of $2000, but lucky she could claim back most of it . She says she looks like a star war character when she sleeps with the mask .

My baby just had an episode but I dont think is sleep apnoea. Thank GOD it was only a once off and scared the s**t out of me.

I have friends kids who have had the surgery and had improvement right away. I must admit I would be furious if it wasn’t listed as urgent too! My husband has servers obstructive sleep apnoea and it’s heart breaking he will be using Cpap machine for the rest of his life 🙁 your daughter is young and removal of tonsil annonoids will resolve the issue. Hope it all goes well x
