My daughter has just started this at 2.5 she does it mostly in open spaces like underground car parks , shopping centres. She is testing out her voice. We don’t encourage it

It does seems to be a normal thing… my daughter did it and now my grand daughter has just started doing it (she is two).

I have boys so this didn’t happen at all and my sister has girls and her girls didn’t either so I don’t think it is normal.

I thought the same as the other ladies. I have heard a lot of little girls around this age doing this sort of thing, especially in shopping centres where their squeals seem to echo and resonate.
