I watched Star Wars as a child and went to see the latest Star Wars movie. Nothing can compare to the original but the movie is good and the Star Wars legacy lives on for new generations. The messages of good and evil in Star Wars are eternal.

  • This is on my to do list. I think I might hang on a bit longer and sit down with my kids and watch it with them. Half the joy will be seeing their reactions to it.

  • With all the Star Wars movies around and I haven’t watched a single one! I am familiar with them and their characters, how can you not be with all the publicity?! I also have never watched a single Harry Potter movie or read a book, even tho my kids had all the movies and books and watched/read them to death. I only recently watched ET…..

  • It’s so good. I feel that they keep a lot of elements true to the original trilogy. I must admit I am happy they kept pieces from non-canon legends in there.

  • I loved watching Star Wars as a kid (episodes IV to VI). I agree the messages and themes are timeless. I haven’t made it to see the new one yet but I am hoping I will get to see it soon!

  • My son and his cousin is going to see the new movie today and heard it was really good. Funny I have never really been a Star Wars fan , yet I used to watch Lost in Space constantly when I was a little girl . I still remember the good old shows on black and white TV !

  • I feel a bit out of the loop with all these new star wars movies. They coincided with me having kids and as I don’t really get out to the movies much these days, they’ve all kinda passed me by. This latest one seems to be on my radar more so it’s either really good or I’m slowly getting my brain back after kids! I loved the original ones growing up but I’m not sure I’ll be into the new ones – are they worth seeing?

    • Definitely worth seeing and it keeps the legacy alive.

      • yeah it is pretty cheap to buy them or stream them these days

  • I’m looking forward to seeing this… my kids know about “Star Wars” even though they’re too young to see any of the movies yet!
