Any other ladies studying full time with children ??? For almost two years now I’ve been studying a Bachelor of Business/Marketing. I’m a good student usually and I’m a perfectionist so I try to double check things and double check all the details before I submit anything. But lately I’ve been lacking motivation and have been having trouble concentrating with my two children. I have a two girls…aged two and three…so they demand a lot of my attention. I’ve tried making schedules, motivational boards and trying to take breaks to try and increase motivation for study but no luck :( Has anyone else had this problem??? I’m in desperate need of motivational help. I want to finish this course, graduate and…with a great academic transcript. Help!

  • I am studying a bachelor of education with 4 children, and am about half way through and have lost my motivation.

  • It sounds like you need some quiet time.

  • Sounds like you might be burnt out.

  • Yeah sounds like you got too much to juggle. You definitely need help from parents or childcare service for that!

  • I too have 2 girls that age and there is no way in hell I could study with their constant interruptions and wanting to sit on my lap. If you are going through any of that then perhaps just try lower your expectations of getting great results. It’s obviously your mind is elsewhere but its needed for good reason – your family. In the end you’ll have the degree and that’s all that matters.
