I had surgery yesterday to have a pinched nerve released from my elbow and moved to another place as i had no muscle control in my left arm and hand. Surgery went well and i was able to come home last night with pain killers and my arm/elbow all bandaged up. I have a cut about 8cm long and I have to keep the bandage and padding on it for 2 weeks when i go back to have stitches removed. The bandage needs to sit about 8cm above my elbow and about 4cm below. The problem i am having is without it being to tight as i move it is sliding down all the time as extend my arm and rubbing on my wound. Has anyone got any suggestions on a way of keeping it in place please as this quite painful?

  • Sorry, I’m not to good at this sort of thing.

  • Paper tape at the top and bottom might help you

  • Did you contact the doctor or hospital for advice about the bandage? I hope your wound didn’t get irritated or infected.

  • Bandaid, best thing to hold together
