I had the best day yesterday: out and about with hubby and daughter. I wouldn’t say ‘weekend’ because hubby works on Saturdays I use this as an opportunity to do the majority of the housework or visit my parents. Usually we’ve been spending Sundays doing more work, gardening, sorting out a new outdoor play area and other assorted household duties. I am going to instigate in our house that Sundays are family day and we get out and do something – even if it is a BBQ in the backyard. Too easy to miss having a day to just relax and have fun with the family so my Summer rule is Sundays are work-free.
