I’ve noticed that during and after pregnancy I’ve become super sensitive when watching a sad movie, reading a sad story or even watching a sad commercial. I thought it’d go away after I gave birth to my daughter but I was just watching a couple on TV reading their wedding vows and I was just bawling my eyes out. I used to never be like this I’m still not used to being a cry baby lol

  • I’ve always been a cry baby. I cried so much reading the green mile I nearly ruined the book and I sobbed so much at the end of seven pounds it took about half an hour to calm down!

  • Oh I think that’s really cute, I’ve kinda become the opposite and find I feel numb sometimes to emotion, but my husband on the other hand has become teary over the strangest things since the birth of our second child……weird.

  • I was exactly the same – still am now! It doesn’t have to be a TV show or movie, could be a song and as I am driving along to work I will just start crying lol

  • It can take a good while for hormones to settle down.

  • Ive always been a cry baby but I did have my first child at 18 maybe that’s why?

  • Those hormones can play havoc with you for quite a while after giving birth!

  • YE! Well your certainly not the only one, and in my case,8 years later hasnt eased up none! motherhood made me way more emotional than i ever was! I even cry when something is extremely happy!

  • It happens when you become a parent! I never had a problem prior to becoming a Mum but I felt fragile watching a sad movie or listening to sad stories. My husband travelled overseas with work & I never had a problem at home alone until our baby arrived. Hormones probably are the biggest factors!

  • I wasn’t affected that way after pregnancy, it would take a lot to make me cry but there’s nothing wrong with being sensitive like that, our DD cries a lot watching movies, she’s a caring and sensitive soul.
