I have always allowed my child to pick as many flowers and leaves from the garden as she likes – great for creative play and learning. This often resulted in flowers being stripped of petals in full bloom and snap dragons being used for finger puppets. Now she is too old for this, but is teaching the new family next door all her old favourite garden tricks. LOL
