it is that time of year again when we collect money for the teacher gift. Our teacher has worked really hard this year and we are all very pleased at our children’s progress. I have been nominated to buy the gift and I have been thinking long and hard as what to get as over the years they have probably had the usual, wine, tie, cufflinks etc. And I had an idea which I have run past a couple of the mums and they think it is great…. Our teacher has just had a new baby and I thought a voucher for a professional photographer to do a family photo as it is not something you would necessary get time to do with a new baby or want to spend the money as it is $400. But we have all agreed $20 a person and this covers it. I think the teacher will be delighted and pleased to get away from the standard gift of alcohol. this will last for ever and is very personal. Everyone so far has been delighted at this idea! phew job done!
