We love technology free time in our house. Whether it be just sitting quietly and all reading a book or playing with playdough or a board game. Just time with no TV or tablets it’s fantastic.

That’s great and so true , I hardly see kids now even to “sit and talk” . I grew up with minimal technology and now it has overtaken us ….

  It does happen slowly, but the time can be taken back and the kids do love the tech free time.

we have just come back from a week with no internet and it was lovely!!

Great idea, we need to implement this in our house, our kids are addicted to iPads and iPhone and we now give them 15mins a day but I think I need to make total ban days.

How lovely! In 10 days we are going to do the same. We are to a farm where there is no mobile reception at all. I can’t wait!!

It is good to relax without your phone ringing,you can chill and enjoy each other!

I do like to have a quick email check once a day – just to scan for emergencies.

This happened to us a little while ago and it was fantastic! I’ve tried to enforce a no technology on subsequent holidays with no success. Hopefully next holiday will be in a no reception area.

It makes such a difference without it!
