My son who is 14, has had to take on so much in his young life.
His dad has a chronic illness and since a young age, my son has stepped in to be a child carer for his dad.
This has involved him having to do extra chores around the house, take or go places with dad he may not want to go and deal with the emotional strain on himself and his younger siblings.
I am so proud of my son how he has never given up, rarely complains and is always there for the family.
