I met my partner when I was 13 , he was 16, I fell pregnant a few months after we met and delivered a beautiful baby boy when I was 14, we have now gone on to have six more amazing children and have now been happily together for the last 23 years.

  • That is incredibly young to start your family and you’ve definitely defied the odds of still being together. I too have a school friend who had a baby at 16, she’s still with the father, 30 years later!

You should be very proud at such a young age you raised a child.

  • These are my beautiful children, not the best photo as it’s hard to get a good one with them all sitting together

  • Coming from another teen Mum (20 years ago) congratulations on making it through the turmoil and hurt of hearing others say you wont make it. Because sometimes people beat the odds and make a beautiful life full of love and commitment for themselves. Enjoy your beautiful family honey, I know I do! xx

  • How very lovely – but I think most people would benefit from being older when they have kids themselves.
