Hope you are having wonderful time with your little one. Just like you we had our first one after 7 years of trying. I called in and they told me to take a Panadol and get some sleep as it was my first one and will be long before I give birth! My baby girl was born an hour after this happened! Totally 2 1/2 hour! I almost didn’t make to the hospital.

Seems to happen a lot, they send you home and then bam, bub is ready.

i hate when they tell you to get rest and come back in when it really starts to hurt! i think i know my body pretty well so they will just a call from hubby saying that we are on the way instead!. my last labour, i barely made a sound (natural and no pain relief) and the midwife didn’t believe me when i told her that the baby was crowning so i said a naughty word and grunted as i had the urge to push and she checked and basically had to catch a baby!
