Isn’t it funny how some childhood fears stay with you! I chipped a tooth and had to go see the dentist. Two days of anxiety from the time of booking to the appointment today. When I was a teenager I had a bad experience getting a root canal as the anaesthetic had not kicked in…needless to say very painful and set off a fear of going to the dentist. Today I was amazed at how far we’ve progressed. I had a X-ray done on the spot that showed up on the screen in front of me and everything sorted in under an hour. Kids today won’t know how much worse it was for us to go to the dentist and for this I am thankful 🙂
