While I think it is wonderful that William and Kate have had their little princess, I am a little over all the media coverage that it seems to have attracted. I found myself flicking over to ABC kids Channel 22 just to get away from it all. Some of the questions that the journalists have been asking are just absurd! Yesterday morning, while I was still in bed, I woke to my husband groaning at the TV. The journalist asked someone they were interviewing ‘I believe you had your child in that wing, was it a good wing?’ Really!?
I was also horrified to see the questions already surface about Kates weight. How long will she take to loose the weight? What will she do to loose the weight? Are you kidding me! She was hours after having her baby boy, and these scrutinizing questions have already begun. And to be honest…What baby weight!?
I wish the royal family all the luck in bringing up their family, it is a time of joy. And I hope they are able to get some much deserved quiet time as a their little family.
