Hello!

I have a pet hate and its the toilet seat being left up! Hormones are not helping me but every time I see the toilet without the seat nicely in place I see red.
SO I want to start a revolution to stop this happening! I have a rule or four, between the male and females of this world there are four reasons to go to the toilet.
The female needs to pee
The male needs to pee
The female needs to go number 2
The male needs to go number 2

Out of these four instances one must be seated THREE times, is it not fair that going by the required 75% of down time that the toilet seat should be constantly down? I have tried this explanation at home and it worked for a while but it should take off.
Yes I know its trivial but going in the dark in the middle of the night and sitting on a cold hard toilet bowl is something a lot of us have to endure.

  • Even worse when you only have one toilet, you have a special toddler’s seat that fits into it, the whole thing is left up and your little one tries to use the toilet on his own. He half fell in, got scared and refused to use the toilet for about 3 months. We had to re-start toilet training all over again.

  • In my house, it’s 3 women vs 2 men so we out number them and insist the seat stays down or else!

  • I am lucky as I have my own toilet, if the boys want to pee they can use the toilet supplied for them. They do leave the seat up but I don’t have to use it.

  • Ha. So far this hasn’t been a problem around here, but I suspect it might be when my two little boys get a bit bigger!

I think i must be very lucky with my hubby as he always leaves the seat down think he knows its more than his life is worth lol
I do agree with you tho its would be very annoying to go to the loo at night and find the seat up.
