Okay, so I have a very strange vagina, sometimes it so tight that it feels like nothing is going past, other times it feels like it’s just a hollow area, the entrance is always tight but even when it is tight it’s like there is two lines that run down that just nothing exists. I have never had the guts to as anyone so please help!!

  • If you are worried about this go to your gp and ask for a referral to an obgyn. A specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics.

  • Best to go to a gp. Maybe sneak in a quick question when you are getting your Pap smear?

  • I would go to a GP and get a referral to a gynaecologist. It never hurts to investigate these things.

  • Totally agree with other moms advice about visiting the GP. Our doctors surgery has a women’s clinic with women doctors and special women nurses so maybe this is something you would be more comfortable with, check in your area. But what ever you do please don’t feel embarrassed, these people are there to help.
    Wishing you well.

  • The best place to start would be your GP. Although you may feel embarrassed they are trained in these things and see it often so it is just another day at the office! They may be able to have a look and then refer you on to get scans to see what is happening. Good luck and don’t be afraid!

  • I’m unsure of what advice to offer you aside from what has already been mentioned by others here. That is to say go get it checked especially if you are experiencing any pain because of the sensation you have there. One step at a time the first one being get to your GP.

  • go to the gp and if you don’t want to see them then go to a gynaecologist (you ay need a referral from GP) as they specialise in this area and you need not feel embarrassed as they see them all the time and all sorts of problems every day. It will be a huge weight off your shoulders once you have got some help and advice.
