Hello!

So I’ve been looking into a few different courses that are provided through distance education. I finally took the steps to apply into the course I really liked yesterday, I’d previously mentioned to the boss of the house (my partner) that this is what I’d like to do.

Feeling very good about myself I was excited to tell him I’d enrolled into said course. His repines was is this what you really want to do once the boys are at school, do you see yourself in the top positions possible once you’ve completed this course? The list goes on for the million questions he hit me with. A simple wow that’s great you’ve found something you’d like to do would have made me feel a lot better then what I do now.

I received an email this morning to say my application was successful but without my fiancĂ©’s support I feel too guilty to sign off the letter of offer and commence study.

Please tell me I’m not the only stay at home mother in this position.

  • I would not be waiting for anyone’s approval; do what works for you.
