I’m sure what started as a fun filled adventure has gone horribly wrong when a youth has died on a south eastern train in Melbourne. I hope his death is not in vein and that all today’s youth are given more information on deaths through moving vehicles. Hopefully this shocking accident is never repeated. And best wishes to the boys mother.

  • Sadly, many kids take silly risks.

  • That’s so sad. My heart goes out to his family

  • Such a sad thing to of happened i think kids now a days think that they are invisible sometimes and that bad things will never happen to them.

  • This boy was such a lovely lad and a good kid that just made a silly decision. His brother needs all the love and thoughts now.

  • It’s dreadful, but I think kids will always do stupid dangerous things. Luckily very few of them pay such a high price.

  • I feel for the boys family but sad to say this is not some thing new. Kids where doing sort of thing over 30 years ago just like other things sadly they become the new thing to do.

  • As a mother I felt sad and so very sorry for the loss of this families son, brother ,grandson etc.
and pray the boy in question did not experience pain for to long. I raised this story with my son but he was not that sympathetic and said basically what do you expect when you hang out of a moving train.
Sincere condolences to the family and may you now RIP young one.
