I laughed when I read the story of a pea up their daughters nose as it instantly reminded me of myself as a child. I too placed a midget gem up my nose and it got stuck. I can’t remember doing it but my mother always reminds us of the funny things we did as children. I also stuck an umbrella handle straight through the guider skin under my tongue. What was I thinking? It seems that kids are the same the world over. I think the midget gem fiasco was to keep them from my perks brothers……not sure about the umbrella handle. I sometimes wonder how we survived!
